Hotel DelanoO primeiro local do meu roteiro era o Hotel Delano. Quando foi construído em 1947, o Delano era o prédio mais alto de Miami Beach.

O hotel dispõe de um impressionante lobby interior e exterior, uma grande piscina e um jardim que dá acesso à praia. Fiquei impressionada com o exterior, nomeadamente com o xadrez gigante, as cadeiras dentro da piscina e as cabanas da piscina.

Hotel Delano
The first place in my script was the Hotel Delano. When it was built in 1947, the Delano was Miami Beach's tallest building.

Designed by Robert Swartburg, the Hotel Delano was one of the first to be built after the Second World War. Its name is a tribute to President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, who died in 1945.

The hotel has an impressive interior and exterior lobby, a large swimming pool and a garden that gives access to the beach. I was impressed with the exterior, particularly with the giant chess, the chairs inside the pool and the pool huts.

It was the second location in my script for Miami Beach, it did not dazzle me like the Delano, despite being a good example of Art Deco.

The route continued along Collins Avenue, where are some of the most beautiful Art Deco buildings. Tatel was one of the ones that caught my eye.
